Remote starters S70 1998

JOHN-it will be an electrical nightmare, to install it in your car. It definately will not work with your OEM alarm; so you can either have 2 systems(open you doors with OEM to turn off the alarm) then remote start the car. Or completly dissconnect the OEM and install a completly new remote locking/starting system. the problem is the wiring is complex for most indie installers, and a tech who knows Volvos wiring systems/computer will charge a fortune. Robert's 94-855, probably don't/didn't have a factory alarm or if it does, it don't have the immobilizer built in. I think in MY 97, they installed the immobilizers(at least my 97-854 T5 has it.) Moral is: on the newer computer controlled alarms systems, it's hard to install an aft. mkt. system. good luck, BD
