Code 4.1.4 ..last time problem with Flashing climate controls lights..need help 850

i am having the same problem from 1998...i just took out my old invoice from dealer and saw that there was code of 4.1.4 stored in the computer last time I had this problem. Last time they replaced the LEFT SIDE TEMPERATURE SENSOR>
SInce I cannot read the codes at home..is it safe to assume that it could be the same problem,,the part number according to invoice is 9134821-9...does anyone else have any idea on what might be the problem..the heat and a/c are not working fully at max fan speed either..



can someone tell me ..

1. where is the left side temperature sensor located and how to get to it..is it possible to do it at home ..

2. what do i have to remove to get to it ..does anyone have any illustrations for this on the web..

3. how much is the part..

4. since i am not geting air out of the side mirrors vents..could this be realted to it..
