Any tips on pulling out speedometer unit? 850 1994

The key is to get the driver side of the dash board up as high as possible. Try unhooking the drivers side dash speaker so you don't stress that wire and if you have removed both the screws where the door window defog vent is, with considerable effort you should be able to set the lower left edge of the dashboard itself ontop of the dash assembly. This will create a bowed effect of the dashboard right above the instrument cluster. Make sure the steering wheel is all the way down and pulled all the way toward the driver. This will just give you enough room to wiggle this thing out. Don't worry, it is apparently very difficult to break anything or I would have done it already.

Good luck,
Jim
