Wash the motor... 850 1995

If you're gonna spray water all over the engine you might as well take the shroud off the top of the motor when you're done and get a compressor and blow the water out of the sparkplug wells. I pulled the plug-wires off and put some dielectric grease in the boots to help keep moisture out and seal the boot to sparkplug contacts. The dielectric grease will help seal the boot in the plug well too if you put a light coating around the top of the boot where it meets the top of the well. If not you'll build up a lot of corrosion in the plug wells and around the sparkplugs and eventually get misfires and a crappy running engine. Mike
