Throttle body cleaning 850 1995

If you mean open the butterfly, yes. You can either have someone hold the pedal down or just work the linkage by hand at the throttle body. Just mind the cable. You don't want to kink it or have it pop loose without knowing how to get it back on.

If you do decide to spray into the TB, remove any platic nozzle or pipe from your spray can. Therre was a post here a couple of weeks ago from someone who the plastic pipe shoot off of the can and get lost in the intake manifold.

While you're working in the area, clean and lube the linkage. I find a lot of dust and grime in the ball joints. Can't do anything except wear them out.

Good luck,
