Electrical system going haywire 850 1995

I am experiencing the same problem with my 1996. I disconneted the position cable from the battery and with an Amp meter found a 300mA drain into the bundle of red wires attached to the positive cable (these wires are for the accessories that work when the ignition switch is off - clock, security, locks, interior lights, etc.). By the process of elimination, one of the wires (the one spliced to a blue/red strip after about 8 incles) was the one and I removed it from the group, recrimped the others and attached them back to the battery.
The red - then blue/red, wire is now disconnected and my battery does not drain (go dead after three days). Also, everything works.
If any one gives you a similar suggestion and states what the wire is for, please email me. In the next month, I will stop in the dealer and ask them. If they give me some credible information, I'll publish it.
