true, but i like the rock solid feel i get with the new lines. as far as the fluid, i like getting that extra margin of protection, plus being blue, i was able to tell right away that all the old fluid had been flushed when i changed it. i am willing to spend the extra bucks on brakes cause i am more concerned with the 60-0 time than the 0-60.
