Best? Are you in Canada? If you mean 'fast'... 850

The fastest turbos are 850 and SVC70s equipped with the 5 speed manuals. About a second or so quicker to 60 and in the 1/4 mile. After about 80-100 mph the manuals really run away. Canada (and the rest of the world) received the 850T so equipped, we in the US had to wait for the '98 SVC70. The coupe is fastest/lightest and the convertible is the slowest/heaviest of the 5-speeds, with the sedan and wagon in between. The Gen II S60-V70 became obese and slowed down again.

If you mean "reliable", the last model year of the 850, 1997 in the US is probably most reliable.
