Chopped Suspension (call me crazy...) 850 1993

I don't know enough about spring rates but this idea crossed my mind AFTER I installed my IPD sport springs. After changing to IPD springs, I loved the look, the 1.3" drop but I really didn't like the firmer ride. It was too firm. If I could get the look and preserve the ride that would be the perfect combo. Too bad for me, this idea came after ... your rationale makes good sense, you're going to buy a set of springs anyways, why not try cutting the OEM ones down.

Please do and post your results!
