Chopped Suspension (call me crazy...) 850 1993


If you lower the car the suspension will have to be firmer or else the car will bottom out all the time. Even between the turbo and NA there is a difference.. the 850 turbo accommendates the larger 16 wheels and gives the stiffer ride. I dont mind this because the wheels fill the wheel well and I think it looks better
I remember when I had a VW... I cut the springs myself and the car handled totally different...corner great.. Looked great but very stiff... I was advised against doing it myself but I never had a problem and I bet that car is still on the road today.
