Fog Light Installation 1995 - 850

all wires are in the car. the foglight connector wires can vary as to exactly where you'll find them, probably installed by mischievious little elves. get under front corner of the car and look up. on each side of the car, you should be able to locate an unused wiring harness (black ribbed plastic wrap with gray connector) clipped or taped to the fender wall or the frame. the green/orange wires are inside this coil wrapper. the wrap has a slit so you can look inside to confirm wire colors. fyi, green/orange is power, black is ground.

wires inside the dash can usually be accessed by merely pulling out a couple switches. the switches are friction-fit, so you can pry them out...work carefully so as not to leave marks on the surfaces. you can also remove the knee bolster and work from below, but this is uncomfortable and inconvenient.
