Transmission Flush Question 850 1995

When you see that there is not color difference between in and out, that means you are done. You then have to fill up the tranny with another 3 quarts (more or less), and put everything together. Start the car, with hand brake on and foot on brake pedal, put the shifter to each position for about 10 seconds, and back to "P". Check the fluid level with the dipstick (cold side) with car is still running. Do not overfill the fluid.

When I did mine, it was about 12 quarts depending on how dirty is the fluid.
