Oil change / wrench sizes 850 1993

'83 850 109,500 miles

I am finally ready to change my own oil.. Feed up with the Jiffy Lube 'experts'.
I went under the car tonight only to notice a plastic plate/sheet covering the access to the oil filter.

Should there be bolts all around this plastic plate to hold it on? Being my first time under there I can't tell what it should be like. It is being held on with 2 bolts! Any that are missing must be the fault of the oil change guys!!

Also noticed that the oil drain plug is a little beat up on !! Once again probably the 'oil experts' using the wrong size wrench.

What size is correct to remove the plug ??

Thanks in advance for your help - Next project will be the tranny fluid

Chris
