Looking to buy 2001 XC...need input... V70-XC70

Well, my wife test drove a 2001 XC, and decided she really likes it. She currently drives a sweet 95 945T with 120k miles, and has decided she really needs a newer car. What she seems to really like about the XC vs the 945 is the increased height and the corresponding view of the road in the XC (she is 5'1").

I currently drive a 99 S80 T6, and am becoming aware of the quirks and foibles of the FWD cars vs. RWD (we have had 940's previously).

Are there any particular things I should be aware of with the 2001 XC? We will be looking to get one with less than 50k miles, and the 100k/6 yr certified warranty.

Should I just keep the 945T (looking at about $1500 worth of things it needs/will need in the coming months)? Please give some opinions.....
