Do you know if the R model limts power in first gear (assume you have a
manual transmission)? The automatic transmissions do. The T5s we have
here in the States do not limit power in first gear (if you have a
manual transmission). But, the R model never made it to North America
so a lot of people who read this board are not familier with it. If the
R model does limit power in first, then the system that controls this
would be the first item to have checked.
