Tranny Light 'Arrow' Flashing

Good day folks!

Quiz question... the "Arrow" on my idiot lights and the S-E-W lights on the shifter have started flashing today... Ironically just as I was pulling into the BMW dealership for the unveiling of the new Z4!!

Anyhow - I was a little concerned, but suspect electrical/ sensor problem. I don't notice the car driving or shifting erraticall, actually, the trans seems responsive. I changed the fluid not even 8,000 Km's ago.

In true Volvo fashion, after I parked the car, I turned it on and off about a dozen times (not actually started - just to ACC) and lo and behold, the light turned off. Did I just manage to find a way to clear the code? The Lambda light is also on - and this time I didn't even fill up with gas and not screw the cap back on properly.

I guess I'll have to take it in to get the codes read? I just rounded 94,000 KMs.

Any info / tips greatly appreciated!!
