Buying a used 850 GLT 850 1996

I'm the happy owner of an '87 245 w/ 192,500 miles and counting. I need another car and found a '96 850 GLT sedan w/ 118 k miles I like. Has all the bells and whistles. Leather, moonroof, etc. I'd like some advice on the dependability and maintenance costs I can expect. Also, is $7500 a decent price. Only thing I can see wrong right now is it will need new tires soon. Timing belt was replaced at 78k so probably should be replaced in not too distant future. I haven't had a mechanic check yet. Edmunds says private party value at $8600. Something fishy?

I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
