Dramatic climate changes? Move up here to New England! You can see a 40 degree change in the same day!

You could have some carbon build-up in the cylinders. When you stomp on the throttle, does a puff of black smoke come out the tailpipe? The knock sensors might be faulty as well. Did you check for any codes?
