Left Wiper Arm Problem 850 1995

I noticed last night the the left (drivers side) wiper arm on my wife's 855T does not stay in contact with the windshield all the way accross the sweep. It lifts off the windsheild about four or five inches from the lsft side. This does not allow it to clear the water from the drivers view. What can I do to fix this problem ?
