Used Snow Tires 850 1996

I have a chance to purchase four Michelin snow tires with less than 4,000 miles on them for my 1996 850 Turbo Wagon. They come with the wheel and hub cap and their size is 215/60/16. This is about one inch taller and 1/2 inch wider than what Volvo specs for the car. Will this do any damage to the car and what recommendations does anyone have regarding this decision. The set is selling for $400. My research tells me that similar set of tires and wheels brand new would cost in excess of $700. They're coming off of a Ford Taurus with a generic bolt pattern on the wheels so I'm assuming they'll fit the car unless Volvo's bolt patterns are an unusual width. Thanks. -Rick
