How to Remove Sttering Wheel ? 850

Remove the airbag and you'll see that inside the wheel is a small screw. You center the wheel, remove the nut, mark the wheel to shaft position with a punch or TU paint. Before removing the wheel, put the small screw into the hole in the contact reel (it's obvious) and tighten the screw. Do NOT turn the steering wheel with that screw in place, just pull the wheel straight towards you, comes off easy, no puller required.
When you re-install, be sure set screw is removed from contact reel BEFORE tightening nut.
The screw simply keeps the contact reel from turning accidentally and if it were off by one 360 degree turn, it'd be ruined when re-installed by turning the wheel.
