More light for the rear of the V70-850 wagons V70-XC70

Didn't know if anyone else would be interested or not but just read a post on XC forum on the REAR FOG LIGHTS. TONYG replied and said in part "...just create more "red" while at the same time not creating confusion with brighter brake lamps." Well that's what I did and it looks good in the day and at night. I installed a single filament socket with a 5w bulb, in the top reflectors on either side. Upon close inspection thru the red lens, I could see a compound curved reflector inside. When I removed the upper lens assemblies to take a closer look, I found that there is already 1" hole in the body rt. behind the compound curved area where I installed the sockets. Did they use these upper reflectors in a country other than the U.S.A.?
I used a 3/4" hole saw to cut the hole, and the piece that came out with the cutter is chrome plated inside the hsg., as I thought. If anyone is interested in the how to info, just ask. My car is a '99 V70 awd. BTW, it hasn't set any codes, yet... I don't see how to send a picture along sorry, Tom
