Stability Traction Control (STC); Transmission Adaptive Control System, Geartronic S80

RE: 2000 S80 T6

My manual says that the STC monitors each wheel starting when the speed is 25 mph or more. Does this mean that STC ON does nothing at speeds less than 25 mph?

Should STC ON affect the initial acceleration level that you feel, if you start from a slow roll less than 25, relative to what you would feel for STC OFF?

If you drive the car gently almost all of the time and then chomp on it from a slow roll or standing start will the Adaptive Control System make it accelerate slower because you have a gentle driving history?

How quickly does the Adaptive Control System change it's mind about you?

If you are using the Geartronic with STC ON does the STC still work the same way?
