...oh and by btw, Volvo had a recall on the s80 regarding stabilizer links and the same defect showed up in the first production runs of 2001 V70's!

Look into it, and be skeptical of dealers who either don't know or act like they don't know anything about it. It's pitiful, the amount of ignorance you will find "behind the counter". You would think that the dealers would all know the product and it's problems intimately....not so. Some good, some real bad.

I had to go to two different dealers to get a proper diagnosis of the original problem.....after doing the type of research you are doing!
