Volvo-masochism S70 1998

Well, the rotors are a normal wear item, every 2nd pad change is normal. Suspension components are normal wear items, depending on the kinds of roads you drive over, as are the wheel bearings especially if they throw tons of salt on your roads. Mine does the steering wheel squeak thing, too, it's probably curable with a little time spent under the dashboard with a can of silicone spray. I havn't bothered yet.

So you're bothered by a trunk shock, another normal wear item and a noisy throwout bearing and brake calipers.

I have a 4" stack of receipts, mostly electrical problems. I think you got a good one as far as V70s (and 850s) go.
