Front Motor Mount Question 850 1995

Hi All,

I have a few quick questions I would live to get some opinions on. I have pretty much decided to let my Volvo dealer handle my leaking rear main seal which they diagnosed today for a cost of $989. I know an independent might do it cheaper but i like the idea of the warrantied work and free loaner while it's in.

Anyway... while it was getting diagnosed, they let me know that my front motor mount had collapsed and both my spring seats were torn. I'm not really a mechanic but I have tinkered enough to make it through most projects if they are not too difficult or time consuming. (I didn't dare tackle the timing belt)

Are these two things something that can be done in a day with a decent set of basic tools? Volvo wants $334 for the spring seats and $194 for the motor mount.

Thanks!
Andy
