s70 'do-it-yourself' work. Can it be done? S70 1999

Pretty easy to service. They even retained the ability to open
the hood 90 degrees and pleanty of room under the hood.

Major work like clutch replacement or transmission replacement is
not a DIY project. But the common problems are often DIY projects.

Shop manuals from Volvo don't really exist (they do but a set
costs thousands). www.alldatadiy.com will sell you an annual
subscription to technical info, TSBs and recalls for $25. The
TSBs cover a lot of repair issues.
