ditchin radio 850 1993

(same as below but i thought it was too far down the page for anyone else to read it...) Yeah, the radio in my '93 850 is screwing up badly. i just bought the thing and it is a wonderful car but the radio is the biggest problem (besides the lack of cup holders). ive got the sc-810 radio i think. Since i bought it only the front speakers have worked. i was on the verge of buying new back speakers but then the other day i was driving and listening to the radio when all speakers faded out and then :30 secs later all faded in and were working. im thinking yay they work but then the front ones went out. they would both go out, crackle, the back would go again, and all kinds of crap for about 1 hour. then, the fronts came back like before and the backs wouldnt play again. i was thinking of finding a refurb program and buying a refurbished radio from a dealer. has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? i dont have loads of money, just a student, but are there any good ways to deal with it? please email me at soccerdude13@.nc.rr.com if you can help. Thanks a lot!!
