Have to agree with Mikewest V70-XC70 1998

Steve:

Like you I owned a 240 which I purchased new and put 285,000 miles on. The dealer serviced it and I no problems at all. I also owned a pair of 740 turbo's which were serviced by a local garage, also no problems. We now have a 2000 V-70.(Acutally the the second. The first I gave back with less than 1,500 miles on it) With 35,000 miles it has been back to the dealer about 10 times for small things, mainly electrical switches. Just yesterday the master door lock switch had to be replaced because it also controls opening the gas door and I could not fill the tank. The lights, door switch, ars switch, brake caliper, window switches, key and radiator over flow sending unit have also been replaced.

I know other loyal Volvo owners who have had the same problems. Just ask the dealer - they will tell you they see it every day.

Count me in among the cry babies. This is my last Volvo! In the same time I have owned 2 Dodge Caravans - no problems.
