Squeaking sound coming from back... S70 1999

Unlatch the rear seats so they fold foward about an inch and
see if it goes away. If so, the seat latch is squeeking.
If not, lower the seats more to se if it comes from the trunk
area. Can't offer any advice on the trunk area but at least it
would isolate the noise a bit further.

Oh yes, my 98's seat latch squeeked and was replaced (but it squeeked
in the first month of ownership and was defective from the factory).
I have not seen any other posts on this board with the squeeky seat
latch so I doubt it is a common problem.
