Noisy Torque Converter Lockup V70-XC70 1998

My 98 V70 did this after about 6 months. When I took it in, the dealer told me it was "normal".

On a fluke, I had the transmission fluid flushed, and the problem went away for about 8 months, then returned. I had the fluid flushed again, and it went away once more.

Now I have the fluid flushed regularly (stop/go traffic all the time here in Sandy Eggo), and the problem has never returned.
