Is there any value in my HUGE investment?

That is interesting. I was so angry at the Volvo I went out and bought a 1983 MB 500 SEL, just to prove that a car can be built to last. Most of the time it sits in the garage though and I drive it on weekends. We did look at a 1999 MB E 320 station wagon with 45,000 miles on it. The dealer wanted $ 20,000 and the Volvo. I decided to keep the Volvo until the warranty is up and purchased another Dodge Caravan for $ 24,000. While it does not have the style etc.. of the Volvo, it is a lot more comfortable for the family. At 70,000 miles I have no problems with my 1999 Caravan, which is still in the family.
