ABS dash light constantly on

i think the nhtsa and volvo are waiting for a series of fatal accidents related to the abs problem before they act.....going to the media road&track?? or some other high profile automotive magazine might hasten it. volvo would only move once the buying public becomes aware that problems in their products do not get fixed voluntarily by volvo, which in turn would drive sales down.
