Chip on wood trim S70

I have what I *think* is the SE trim on my 2000 S70 GLT -- it has this deep red faux wood trim around the stereo, on the glove compartment, etc. This morning I sat in the car and noticed that a small piece of it (some millimeters in diameter) had just chipped off near the flasher button, revealing white underneath. I've just bought the car CPO recently, and it looks new...I have no recollection of how this might have happened. In any case, the chipped wood is looking really bad. Any idea what I can do in such a situation? Is it just painted over with the same color of red so it's not as visible? Or can the "wood" somehow be filled back in at that spot?

Thanks!

Amit
