Smelly Volvo

The filter is not a warranty issue, however, I felt the warranty issue of musty problem caused the filter to become unusable...The Volvo dealer did not say to us that the filter is not a problem..Too bad you could not have sat in the Volvo to cough and gag at the smell...And, thanks, now I know we can change it ourselves. We talked to Volvo about our changing it but they said it was far too difficult..I am not used to working on cars but certainly will try to tackle this one the next time.

And to the dealer that wrote again...please do complain about your medical problems and costs and any other problems...Without voicing an opinion, nothing gets changed. Yours and my voicing a complaint won't get immediate change, but it will occur.

Thanks for all your replys.
