Depends on what you want to spend, but my advice would be to get the newest turbo wagon you can afford and put snows on it. If you need to have a manual, you would have to get a '98 or newer wagon. It's hard to say if the newer ones or the older ones are more reliable since the '93s are now 10 years old versus a three year old '99. We see more postings for automatic transmissions, air conditioning evaporator coils, and engine seals on the older models, due in part to their age. Newer model problems tend to be items like warped rotors, ABS contol units, window switches and door locks, door panels.
