2000 S-80 Intermittent No-Crank/No-Start S80

I have been experiencing an intermittent no-crank /no-start when hot problem with a 2000 S-80 2.9:

1) Only occurs about 0.5% of the time after the vehicle has been brought up to temperature, shut-off, and is attempted to be restarted after 10-50 minutes. The lock cylinder will turn normally.

2) The battery has been replaced within the past seven weeks with an OEM Volvo replacement. (Stays about 12.3 to12.5 volts)

3) When monitored over several days and about 500 miles the alternator/system voltage remains at 13.8 to 14.0 volts depending on the ambient temperature.

4) When the No-crank/No-start problem occurs, neither of the two-factory keys will allow the car to crank.

5) The Starter Relay has been replaced by the dealer, and appeareas to be functioning (when the No-Crank problem occurs the headlights will turn-off; but, I have not been physically present at the "events" to check for voltage at the starter solinoid)..

6)Problem has continued!!!

It would appear that the starter is faulty...any thoughts, comments, or TSBs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!
