Thanks to all who have replied. However, as some of my questions have been answered, new ones are coming up.
1) Where do the OEM fogs mount on a base 850 (non Turbo)? On later model 850's (97+) and the 70 series I've seen round fogs that mount at the extreme outboard edges of the front air dam, outside the outer trapezoidal slots. However, my air dam does not have these mounting positions.
2) In addition, some of the photos I've seen of the OEM fogs for early 850s show the lamps to have squat rectangular lenses with one rounded end. They look like they should mount in the outer trapezoidal slots mentioned above (i.e., on either side of the wide main center slot). Is this correct? Look at eBay auction #1872978202, and you'll see what I mean.
3) If the answer to question #2 is "yes", then does that mean I have to remove the vertical tow loop from the RH trapezoidal slot? (The LH slot cover will pop right out and doesn't appear to have anything behind it.)
4) I belive my car is pre-wired for fogs, as I found a wire loom pigtail that is capped (i.e., not attached to any functioning part) on the LH end of the wide main slot in the air dam. However, I could not find a similar plug on the RH side. Should there be a plug on each side, or does the foglamp kit include a wire connecting one side's lamp to the other?
5) I've looked at a bunch of photos of '93-'96 850s and I've found none that have foglamps, so I'm assuming this was not a hugely popular option. If anybody has them on their car and can shoot a quickie digital photo, please post a link or you can e-mail them to me at jameswolff@snet.net.
(FYI, my '94 850 wagon is the later, 2-bulb per headlamp style.)
Thanks!
