no start-- ALARM PROBLEM ? program remotes ?93 850 -- im stranded-- help please ??? 850

hello
could anyone HELP please ?

i am sad to say I am stranded by a VOLVO! My 93 850 glt (USA) will not start. It cranks well, but will only just begin to fire IF i pump the hell out of the gas pedal...but certainly will not run.

but i noticed that when i lock and unlock the doors as usual, the alarm LED does nothing!!! does the alarm shut off the main fuel pump ? Can this be re-set ?

isnt there a way to reset the alarm by turning the ignition key from off to run positions several times ? cold one of my well intentioned friends have accidentally cycled it off or on or messed it up when they were playing with the key back and forth ? ( i have been meaning to program a new remote i got for the car...i think this was also the way to do that, but i cant remember the precide method. anyone ?)

or has anyone seen this before-- not alarm related ?

THANKS a lot !
if i cant get the car going soon, my looser friend is gonna have to come and rescue me with his SlAAB...*gag*
