Fog lights/sunroof follow-up

Actually, it does. Look on the inboard side of the air dam and you will see the outlines. But you have to cut holes in the air dam along the outline! It's not that hard. BTW, Volvo recommends removing the air dam to do this, and even includes replacement rivets in the kit. Of course, it's possible to cut them in place, but it's more tedious.

All the other comments are correct. The Volvo OEM fog light is mostly for looks, even though they are Hella-brand condenser lens, etc. You will not even notice that they are on, except in heavy rain, or (interestingly enough) fog!
