can i change the low-beam bulb on my 2000 v40 myself? S40-V40 2000

hello all-

i've scoured the archives, and can't seem to find any information on how to change the passenger side low-beam bulb on my 2000 v40. i'm aware (from the archives, and from personal experience) how often they burn out, though my dealer takes an exceedingly long time for any appointment. thus, i've decided that i can do it myself, i just need a few pointers.

i've can see the bulb in question from within the engine compartment, but there's a fluid intake that blocks access. does the entire headlight assembly come out?

are there any manuals on line that describe how to do this?

thanks!

eepa
