replacing console/dash lights on 850 850 1993

John,
The bulbs for the clock and any of the gauges that might be out will require removal of the top of the dash to access them. Its not too bad but there is potential for breaking something. Bay 13 has a good write-up.

The switches on the dash and console can be replaced as an assembly by carefully prying them out of the dash and unplugging them but I think you will find they are surprisingly expensive. The bulb can be replaced with Radio Shack bulbs but a little disassembly of the switch and soldering is necessary. I posted instructions in the last week or two to do just that. Worth a try if you are going to replace the switch anyway.
