Sun roof rattles

Have seen numerous S-80 and 01 V-70 sunroofs with worn linkage. The roof panel actually moves up and down 1/4-3/8 of an inch. The fix is to remove the headliner and sunroof and replace the sliding mechanism and cables. Time consuming, and there are no instructions other than "remove headliner and sunroof, replace cables" to be found in vadis.
