Strange Squeak From Cockpit/Steering Wheel V70-XC70 1998

I recently purchased a 98 V70 GLE for what I think was a decent price. I've read all the comments about the car, but what can I say, I like it anyway. However, a day after I got it home, I experienced, and continue to get, a stange squeeking noise from the Drivers side cockpit. I think its coming from the telescoping steering wheel, but changing the position doesn't help. It's all leather/pleather, and I wondering if something could be rubbing and where I might want to try a lubricant. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
