Crunched side view mirror 850 1994

On Thanksgiving day I argued with a cement pole in an underground parking lot that I was parked too close to (still kicking myself in rear for doing it!). The side view mirror on the passenger side got smashed pretty good. The housing is not damaged, but the mirror itself got broken and bent and must be replaced. It also separated from the housing and came off. I could not reattach it, however I tested the power window adjustment mechanism and it still works, thankfully. Anyone replaced the mirror part? - is it easy to attach to the plastic bracket within the housing? Also, is there any way to determine if the plastic bracket sustained any damage?

Thanks!
