What give Volvo the 'Edge' these days?

Although everyone "talks the talk" there are only 3 manufacturers that seem to actually be serious about safety: Volvo, SAAB and Mercedes. In the real world, the one most of us actually live in, the Volvo wagons are about as safe as you can get.

Also "price" ... you can probably buy between 1 1/2 and 2 Volvo wagons for the price of a BMW 5-series wagon or E-class wagon.
