I'd like to hear some opinions on future resale

I think if you keep good records and sell the car yourself you
should do ok. Trade-in values are pretty low. Overall, the
economy and number of other used cars on the market may be
bigger components of the resale equation then cars' reputation
for quality.

I'd also recommend you re-charge the AC (with dye added to detect
where the leak is). We recharged our 95 and the cost is 10% of
replacement and it has held for about 6 months and still chills
air like it did day 1. I'm hoping to go 2 or 3 years before the
next recharge.
