850 purchase advice 850

I have a 97 850 with 84k. I have had it for 2 years and just recently had to get rear brakes. I think no big deal, until I find out that means new rotors. They can't be turned, because the pads wear away the metal faster than most cars. So a $150 job turns out to be $350. Front brakes are the same way. Just a hard learned lesson. Other than that I am very happy with it. I would have the turbo looked at, as frequently many turbo owners(non-Volvo and Volvo alike)don't know the propert way to turn off the vehicle - let it idle for a couple of minutes to allow the fans to cool off.
