98 AWD XC Wagon-answer to heat sensor problem Nov 30 (no Heat) Fan runs always V70-XC70 1998

Hi, (Re-posting) Answering my post from Nov 30, the problem @ ~50K miles was that this ECT sensor failed. $Dealer$ (also changed the thermostat). Called it a IAT sensor p/n9186486-8 and I don't know what it all stands for or how it was done as I wasn't there to watch. I'm sure it will fail again.So I should learn to do these sensor changes.( I should have read the codes before also.) Caused a no heat condition because the fan ran all the time and even after shutdown. Even bought as a certified car (ext Warraty) we had to pay! :( WHAT NEXT?
