air pump/check valve 850 1997

This indeed is in Oregon. All the codes are READY with the acception of the PO410, I do have access to a SnapOn OBD II scanner but I am not sure if this is a code that can be reset or is a diagnostic of current condition. If anyone has knowledge to this madness I would surely apreciate any help. I really don't want to pay $500.00 plus for this process. I did stop by the shop that did my prepurchase inspection but they seemed not to interested in helping or guiding a DIY guy. I have not had any check engine codes so a reset if possible would make my life easy.
Thanks,
Duk
